Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Today was a great Valentine’s day.. I’m finally home with Jeff & Jasper after a pretty nasty illness that kept me in San Francisco a bit longer than anticipated (a lot more on that later!) My guys made me the CUTEST homemade card while I was gone.. and chocolates and a huge bouquet of Lily’s (my favorite!) followed. Couldn’t ask for much more than that!
And then, I got the sweetest email today from reader/photographer Jessica, who told me that she was inspired by my valentine’s day cookie baking shoot (which if you recall, was inspired by Sandy Wegerman’s shoot) to do a charity mini session event for the Children’s Heart Foundation:
I was so happy to hear that the event was successful (the images are just ADORABLE!) and I thank Jessica sincerely for taking the time to let me know about it.. I just LOVE the idea of doing a mini session for charity don’t you? What a “sweet” idea for next year!
I will be hard at work editing my photos from my Adobe “Photography Girl’s Getaway” so that I can post and share them with you.. I had an incredible time, I can’t say enough about the hospitality that they extended to me and the other “girl bloggers”. I also made some great new friends.. Ok, so now that I’m finally feeling better, I’m off to edit photos so I can tell you all about it. Stay tuned!!
