Unitprints – Great Prints for Everyone!
July 13th, 2010 by ariana
One of my favorite print labs Colorinc now has an end consumer print company called Unitprints.
Before Unitprints, most photogs I know would direct their clients who ordered digital images to Mpix to order their prints, but I haven’t been all that impressed with the Mpix quality so I will be sending clients to Unitprints instead. Colorinc are one of the few labs that use fuji paper, which is in my opinion superior to Kodak for the highlight detail and clarity.
Another great thing about unitprints for those of you who are portfolio building is that instead of giving away the CD and risking having your clients get their prints done at CVS, you can upload the image to an album at Unitprints and let them order away!
I’m considering doing the same for the free shoots I do for close friends.
For those of you who are not photographers, you also might want to try ordering your images from Unitprints because they will FAR surpass any normal retail printer in terms of color and general quality – these are pro lab prints. Definitely worth checking out :)
