Jasper Riding his Tricycle

Jasper has had his tricycle for a while now. At first, we would push him on it using the handle but eventually he got tall enough to scoot around using his feet on the floor.
So when he came riding into the living room Saturday morning it took me a minute to realize that something was different…
He was pedaling!!
It was only a matter of minutes before he was riding around the neighborhood (bear in the back seat of course!), tearing up and down the streets like he’d been doing it forever:
It’s such a bittersweet feeling watching him grow up and acquire new skills like this..he look like SUCH a big boy! Who is this KID riding around on a bike?? Where is my baby?

He he, how cute! My little boy is 14 months and he has one just like this. He squeals with delight when he sees it and we push him round, but he refuses to keep his feet on the pedals (let alone actually pedal them!) and he also constantly has the handlebar turned so I have to lean him back wheelie style to go anywhere! I can’t believe that he’ll be off on his own like that one day soon… they grow so fast

Lourdes, it’s one that they sell at Toys R Us, though I can’t find it on their site (I did see it in the store last week though). Jasper was actually supposed to be on the box but he was too short when they needed to do the photoshoot – his feet didn’t reach the pedals!!
