Awesome toot!
I know Lightroom is $$$$, any idea how much ACR is?
I've downloaded a freeware called LightBox, but haven't really figured it our yet, other than noticing my images look WAY more like film than digital, imo.
Anywho, thanks for posting this!!!!

Lisa E, I don't think it matters what version of PS you run with Adobe Camera Raw.. you can just download the latest ACR version here and it should open up those CR2 Files.

Ariana- Thanks for the post! I have shot in raw at a wedding and the post processing was such a process! My canon raw file is a CR2 file. Photoshop will not open it. I went to Adobe website and they only have a upload for CS4. I have CS3. What file does your canon save it in? What is your typical work flow when working in RAW? Also what is your camera's WB set too? I use auto.
Thanks again! You are awesome!

Thanks guys, glad you find it somewhat helpful! Juliana, I will, but to be honest I don't really do much of anything anymore, I never add color or saturation. I think it has to do with being better about getting the exposure correct in camera - it really helps SO much with color and contrast too!

Maria, you made me LOL, what am I the photo nazi?! ;)

I agree...love these tutorials and very much appreciate them. I need to put MUCH more time into learning about both my camera and Photoshop. I have to admit I think of you when I post a pic to FB and sort of cringe knowing you might see them. I know my photos could be so much better, I just need to invest the time. Thank you for explaining it all so clearly!

Ariana,

Thanks for the tutorial!! I love them and the way you explain things. Please, keep them comming. And here is a suggestion for a next post: what are the main changes you do to your photographs? I can see that they all have such vibrant colors!!
