It’s Official, Jasper is a Baby Genius!

Normally I’m fairly tongue in cheek when I proclaim Jasper is brilliant or advanced – (well aware that each child is the second coming in their mommy’s eyes!) but this COMPLETELY floored me:

Neither of us ever taught him or showed him how to use a twist top, so when he did it once I RAN to get the video camera, quite sure it was a one time fluke I’d never catch on tape. But then he did it about 4 or 5 times in a row!

Isn’t it just the best thing in the world to watch these little scientists make their discoveries?

Go Jasper!!! Noah just did that this morning too…except it was with his sippy cup which led to milk all over the floor. I almost didn’t mind the mess because I was so amazed that he knew how to unscrew the top. They pick up so much just by watching even when you don’t think they’re paying any attention.

LOL Kate, yes, we hear that frustrated whine A LOT.. my favorite part is that he actually thought that he needed to “lube” it with drool. He did the same thing each time!
