I know every practice is different and I don't want to scare you but you may want to research waiting until 42 weeks to intervene. My sister is a NICU nurse and wouldn't recommend it. I know different strokes for different folks but it's best to be educated when making a decision like that. I hope Jasper comes when he's good and ready - on the 10th, we'd be 30 years apart! ;) I’m so sorry for your experience.
